- All picture bookings must be accompanied by a written, or where this is not possible, a verbal brief. Any verbal briefs should be backed up by written confirmation. This will detail the requirements of the assignment, to which the photographer will be expected to adhere
- A Standard shoot is defined as work conducted by a photographer equipped with standard mobile equipment. Studio Work is defined as work involving studio lighting either in a studio or on location
- A “half day” is defined as any period of 3 hours between Normal Working Hours (defined as 9am to 5pm) on a Working Day (defined as Monday to Friday not including Public Holidays) at a single location; For the purposes of the above a “day” is defined as any period of 6 hours between Normal Working Hours on a Working Day at a single location
- For other photographic assignments pictures55 reserves the right to charge additional fees
- Payment is required within thirty (30) days of invoice. Invoices not paid within thirty (30) days will be subject to interest on the outstanding amount at the rate of 8% above the base rate of HSBC Bank plc accruing daily
- Cancellation fees
Up to 48hrs before shoot: No charge
Up to 24hrs before shoot: 25% of commission fee
Day of shoot: 100% of commission fee
- As in line with UK law, copyright will remain with Pictures55, however image rights may be waived on a case by case basis
- Pictures55 undertakes that any work carried out will be performed with all reasonable diligence, skill and care in accordance with best industry practice and will make all reasonable endeavours to ensure that images supplied meet the expected and agreed standards of quality
- Any queries relating to photographs supplied by Pictures55 must be raised immediately upon receipt of the photographs
- The photographer will contact the picture desk as soon as possible if any problems should occur on the shoot. This will enable us to contact the appropriate people and resolve the issue where possible
- Pictures55 shall not be liable for any expense, loss or damage resulting from delay or prevention of agreed services due to a “Force Majeure Event”
- Each party undertakes that it will not at any time disclose to any person any confidential information disclosed to it by the other party concerning the business or affairs of the other party
